HQL Process update

I finally broke down and applied on 1/17. Reading about all the 30 day plus applications is disheartening. I figured that MSP would have the process down by now.

I think mine was slowed down by some past sensitive government work. I read somewhere that some checks have to get bounced up because not everyone has clearance for all records.

I guess that makes it 33 days application to card. Within reason if we accept the need for a 30 day approval process. Which I'm not suggesting is acceptable... sigh

Applied 1/14. Active today. That was much faster than most, I see. And nothing was even checked before this morning.

Hope so...I took the HQL class this evening...then came home and did the application. Now...I patiently wait... :innocent0

Applied on 1/6/15. Everything is completed except LiveScan and NICs, which makes no sense to me since I thought the LiveScan got sent over in minutes (according to the lady at the place I went to in Baltimore). This is a PITA. Saw a great deal on a P22 and couldn't wait so now it's sitting at the FFL.

Just got a call from a state trooper. My LiveScan never got sent over and that's the only thing holding up my application. Hopefully the place I did it (BithGroup in Baltimore) will get it sorted out soon.
