I deal with imported optics all week long and these are about as good it gets before hitting the $400 and up premium domestic stuff. There are local shops that sell these in the $160 range. Duffy's, Bel Air Gun, The Gun Rack are a few that come to mind.

S.P.O.T. Red Dot from mountsplus.com. Chinese copy of an old Aimpoint. Long time ago somebody over at ar15.com or similar did a torture test on one of these. Supposedly the guy ended up destroying his upper well before problems showed up with the optic. I've had one for 6 years now, used it on 2 different AR's and a Saiga 12 with repeated mag dumps. Still going. Price used to be around $80 something though and then they got popular.

I have used this on a 10/22, AR in .22lr and 5.56, Buckmark pistol and is currently on my Buckmark carbine. It has worked well on every platform.

I am not sure about the TRS-25, but I picked up a TRS-32 at WalMart and the mount was included.

i have 2 of these, one with the riser, one on a QD riser. This riser is OK at best. it doesn't actually mount on the rail on my AR that well, it has some play, and it will slide back and forth on the rail if you only hand tighten it. I wrenched it down and it hasn't moved since, and that is after about 500 rounds of 5.56
