They have to keep a list of buyers for the Fire Marshall. Every now and then they ask them for the list to make sure no one is over the legal possession limit.

I've never been ask for name or address when buying powder. I remember back in the seventies having to give name and address for any loaded cartridge that fit a handgun, that was short lived.

I've only been reloading for four years, but my driver's license was always required for notation.

I was in Cabela's, at Christiana Mall, near Newark, DE, yesterday.

    H-335 in 1lb containers. I counted 25 of 'em.

    Other powders seen:

    W748
    W760
    IMR3031
    H-4895
    H4831
    Alliant RL 15; RL17; RL19, RL22

Other powders, too. Sorry, I was tired and didn't think to take a picture.

Some W760 and a pristine Winchester 9422 XTR did follow me home, though. :)

Looking to powder up for .45

    Unique or W231

I would settle for Bullseye, but its pretty dirty. I have some VV310 left so Im not in dire straights

I have not seen WW231 for a couple of years. I still have a backorder floating around for some, at least 2 years.

I did run across some HP38 (exactly the same powder), but that was a while ago.

    Unique does pop up.

TiteGroup has been available lately, and is not bad for .45.
