.308 MAR EXP 160 GR FTX Question and oops

During ordering I ordered this load by mistake. Can I still shoot this out of my Remington 700 as a plinking load or is this something I just need to try and get rid of?

Yeah, you can't shoot that thru a .308 Winchester chamber.

I'm not trying to call anyone out, but I believe the marlin express is rimmed. It will not work in the .308 win

308 marlin express will not work in your rem 700 chambered in 308 win. Doubt it will even chamber. I am assuming your talking about factory loaded ammo. If it's bullets for reloading they may work but I think those bullets have a much shorter length than typical 308 cal bullets. Best to get what you actually need and sell or trade the marlin express ammo/bullets.

It happens and it is an oddball caliber. Even me, with my lever guns fetish haven't bought a gun in that caliber.

Someone will have one though!
