Maybe I'm missing something but how is Vallario keeping his seat a good thing, especially after he pushed revoting on the Smigiel amendment?

Plan D? Not worth the hassle.

Find me in person and I can tell you more .. we made much hey on that but if you know rules of procedure you know that it really was not that big a deal. If you check the wrong box on 4473 would you want to go to jail, or get a chance to fix it?

Also valerio helped us quite bit more than we can say in public.

And not once, to my knowledge did he threaten or order someones arrest .. others not so much

A concern was that Vallario would loose and Dumais would move into the Chair of the House Judiciary Committee, which he currently holds.

Dumas is far, far worse than Vallario.

Did I read that right? Simmons is out.

Yep, unofficially lost by about 700 votes

What happened to the (delegate?) that was pushing a bill on 3d printed guns in Annapolis this year?

So Dumais can run for Governor and for her seat in the GA at the same time? Seems wrong, somehow, but that's MD, I guess.

Simmons was already out by the fact that he was running for a Senate seat.

And you are correct, if we can't roll Dumais, we need to keep Vallario. While he might not be our "friend" he is at least fair to us. NO, the revote was not Vallario, it was the leadership sitting in the room that called the revote in the back room.

No, if you run for one seat, you give up your other seat. Dumais was never running for another seat, just re-election.

    ...
Simmons was out of the House, with the potential to be in at the Senate. Simmons cold have won the Senate seat, did not, and is now is out of both :)

    Another bright spot:

Jordan Cooper (D.16 delegate candidate) was soundly defeated. This was the guy who ran on an "assault weapons"[sic] confiscation and 2-yr handgun licensing platform.

Congrats to Robin Grammer, Bob Long, and Ric Metzgar on the Republican primary side of the House D6 race.

Mike Weir, Jr. also won in the Dem primary, and he was also NRA endorsed (I believe he's also a life member).

Also not bad: John Olszewski, Jr. took the Senate Dem nom in D6, replacing the retired (and ally) Norman Stone. Olszewski has an A rating from and was endorsed by the NRA.

Did not run for reelection :)

Dumais did not run for Governor. MD, so far as I know, does not allow one to run for multiple positions.

Right, got her mixed up in my mind with Mizeur.
