Maryland gun-control law sparks record gun sales

Same here... I bought my first gun because of SB281, and the subsequent 6, and the NFA trust, and submitted a form 1, and the DC form, and my C&R paperwork.

Just Submitted Form 1 Using Online Submission with Trust

FWIW I used Libre Office to drop the DPI on my scan to 150 and the quality to 45%. The resulting PDF was perfectly legible and less that 3 MB.

What are the ATF eForms Payment Methods?

And this says credit card payment: http://www.guntrustlawyer.com/2013/08/gun-trust-and-submitting-atf-f.html

What are the ATF eForms Payment Methods?

Good to know. This thread seemed to imply that credit card payment was an option: http://www.mdshooters.com/showthread.php?t=132261 I was not sure if it was the only option when done on-line.

What are the ATF eForms Payment Methods?

Just got my trust together, and need to know what payment method will be needed on ATF on-line eForms site so I can push my bank to issue that payment method on my new trust account. Can anyone help? Can I pay by 'check' using routing and account numbers, or is credit card required? Thanks...

      ATF eforms offline

Should have only been down for a few hours for emergency maintenance. I was in it poking around when it went down so they sent me an email about it. Weird that you didn't get the email.

The seller is a MAN AMONGST MEN. (And a good seller!) Sold me a P556, went swimmingly.

Form 1 is permission to build. I could have the rifle and then build it to SBR later provided it is legal. A Form 4 and a verified PO for the work in my mind might span the test of SB281, but then I would have to drop the rifle off for the foreseeable future, and thats no fun. Then if they deem...

Yes, but is Form 1 sufficient? Do we have anything on paper showing that a Form 1 SBR submitted before Oct 1 will be legal to build wen it comes back?

      Form 1 Process

Do we have anything on paper from the AG stating that Form 1 will be allowed to complete post Oct 1 if started before Oct 1?

I just want to SBR a PS90 that I am getting this weekend but I didn't want to have to rush to do it. I don't have a trust set up yet, and I doubt I can get it done in time. Then there is the chaos behind whether it needs a form 4 or a form 1 due to SB281 language. I really hate MO'M and his cronies.

The final SB 281: A detailed summary for non-lawyers

Good question. MD defines firearms with a barrel length of <16" as handguns. Says it right in the bill. Based on my interpretation they are legal... I wish I were going to the rally on th 23rd to find out for sure, but I have surgery...

Active shooter drill at elementary school

Well crafted argument. You have (mostly) won me over to the idea of herding children behind barriers if something happens, but not to the sanity of making kids practice for something so specific and unlikely, scaring and scarring them in the process. It creates a culture of fear that will do...

While I do not agree with your statement against manufacture because the statue says manufactured for sale is illegal, not manufacture for personal use, you did find something that I would love to have legal opinion on. MSP says no SBR because SB281 bans semi-automatic centerfire rifles with...
