Pretty good time at the show yesterday - as others have said not incredibly busy but a decent crowd.
Picked up some PMR 30 mags, and some 22 Mag for the yet to be picked up Keltec, wife got a couple of knives and shooting gear.
And I got the ok for a Taurus 738 (or 2), she really liked it...
Very correct Mooseman - I did basic gun safety and shooting with her, helped her progress from a revolver to now a G17 as her HD gun, and also able to handle a shotgun and carbine.
Now for her to learn how to shoot better - someone else is better than me.
The best part is that she wants to...
Was able to get an hour of simulator training at Hatfields Gunsmithing in Manassas recently - we had been thinking about trying it and my wife saw a groupon and got us an hour.
Very good training session for the both of us - the instructor (Andy), was very personable and knowledgeable about...
I ended up getting the Tractor Supply Winchester 24 gun safe that was on sale, got it home and upstairs with the help of 3 others.
Not a bad deal and will hold what we have securely and easy to access for us if needed.
Would love to have gotten the 48 gun widebody that was on sale for $699, but...
Normally after a range trip I clean the handguns right away and also a HD long gun, then get the rest done over the next cpl of days depending on schedule.
Wife loves it when the office smells of gun cleaner

Not really consolidating - just never branched out that far.
22lr (rifles and pistols, 9mm (pistols and PCC), 38/357 (revolver), 45acp (pistol), 7.62x39, and 12g shotguns
Probably gonna add .308 next year for a bolt action
Keep a fair amount of ammo for each, could always use more though.

Picked up from Thunderstick last week - Sig 522 Classic
Got 4 26rd Black Dog mags (kits of course) from Joe Bob Outfitters :party29: (Thanks Guys), threw a Simmons red dot on it for now as it came with iron sights and the scope co-witnesses great.
Have been picking up 22lr whenever I see...
Made it out to Delmarva yesterday with the wife, took the Glock 17, Ruger 22/45, Mossberg 500 and 930.
First time shooting the G17 and the 930 - wow loved both guns.
About 250 rds through the G17, 150 rds mixed through the 930, 200 rds 22lr and maybe 30 rds in the Mossberg 500.
Wife shot...

2 FFL's used on here - Mark at 2A and Gus at Accurate
Both have treated me well and were fair on prices.
Gus was able to get a transfer done for me in the middle of all this craziness.
Mark has done 1 transfer- a mini 30, and 2 purchases, the 1st was for a JR Carbine that he was able to find...
After talking to my FFL - no paperwork back on my 2/28 purchase.
I called to MSP and was told that my 2/28 was Not Disapproved on 4/19 and that it had been faxed back and she would try to find it and fax it again - nice lady to look it up and help me, hope to pick it up soon - we shall see...
Nice choice on that - I just recently got my 930 Waterfowl (wish I could have found a combo), and before I rec'd it, I had already purchased the 18.5" barrel.
Took forever to find the gun and even longer to get it from Bud's, as they advertise it as in stock but hadn't yet rec'd it from...
Same for me on mini-30 mags, ordered 2/28 got email saying no charge until to be shipped then charged on 3/8 yet no shipping email.
Hopefully within the month :o
