      I did not know that about AK's in MD, thats refreshing. I also didnt know that the M30 would not handle steel rounds... that's problematic for cheap shooting. Does anyone know why that is? And does the mini-14 suffer from the same issue?

      Everyone, thank you for the fast replies. An AK would be great but I dont think they are allowed in MD...? Although its on the to get list one day. So I would have to purchase as an after market item the ATI stock and have it put on the Mini 30?
