      DPMS Recon - Worth purchasing?

This model in 5.56 did not have an HBAR configuration, least not yet. The .308 variety is legal in MD. You could buy the upper receiver for the 5.56 you want, then buy a stripped of built lower separately. Though I do not condone breaching any laws by circumventing the supreme leaders guidance...

      300 blackout

My custom build .300 blk is using this barrel only fluted for weight savings. It's quite nice imo. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

      7.62x39 vs 300blackout

I have both a hand built .300 blk and 7.62 x 39 rifle. My two cents are "it depends". Ballistically speaking I find the .300 at 130gr more accurate up to 300 yards. The big difference, however, is penetration. On wood and depth blocks I found that the x39 easily penetrates 1.5 - 2 times that...

      80% bit question

Okay so I have ventured down this path and I had a question. Through videos and sites I've seen some use dewalt titanium bits while others use black oxide. Both seem to work fine on the 6062 and 7075 aluminum. Is there a longevity bonus to using black oxide that warrants the bump in price for...

      Losing our culture

Wow...i haven't seen this kind of trolling (on all parties) since the world of warcraft forums. At least there, we got some awesome chuck Norris quotes.

      Free Float Recommendation..experience?

Question: You said keymod for the float rail and not many accessories. What accessories were you planning then? Foregrip? Angular grip? Optics? I ask because I bought a Yankee hill free float with only about 5 inches of rail at the 90-180-270 positions at the end. This allowed me to attach...

A new day for 2A in MD

Just remember one key aspect to his position. The governorship, itself, cannot make any law. The position is the "CEO" overseeing what our legislative bodies decide. So while you managed to put a Republican into the seat, the focus was missed on local/state delegates who actually make our laws...

Dick's going in at FSK Mall

I happened to glance at this, while walking the mall a couple weeks back. Very intriguing. Not sure it is going to have a heavy rifle section, probably bow and arrow.

First hunting experience, thrill or remorse? Hunting experience thereafter?

Not everyone is meant to hunt and killing without remorse is not a good trait. Though I hunt deer, turkey (badly) and soon to hunt rabbit, I still let many go for emotional or youth reasons. Hunting is meant for food collection, not to take down whatever you can. This is why I don't like duck or...

      Best 12 Gauge under $800

Mossberg 870 turkey gun has been my favorite. 8 years and counting. A couple Toms on its stock, notched in. Cost me 375 when I got it.

Anyone else have problems with Brownells?

If it helps. Two years ago I ordered primers, powder, bullets. I still have 3 items pending, of which I requested a year ago to cancel as I found on other sites easily. Last month they shipped an order of powder. Morons, they are.

      Finally done my AR pistol

now...that is truly sexy. Remember you can buy all the parts for a sbr legally, or a pistol. You just can't put them together. Replacements for an existing build, however, is fine. ;-)

MD Governor Debate is Great Entertainment

I am aware that less then 0% get elected. But mostly they closest reflect my beliefs. Principle is a primary consideration when voting. As voters, we have a responsibility to vote for who we feel will best manage our government. That sentiment is lost on both parties. I thought Hogan was...

MD Governor Debate is Great Entertainment

These debates are the reason why I vote libertarian. It just shows how left a Republican running for office goes to get elected. Ima go grab my pitchfork now.
