Free Float Recommendation..experience?

Friends and experienced GUNSMITHS:
The outgoing "AG" was kind enough to approve my Form 1 (09/28/2014-11/09/2014) via e-file and the pretty blue stamp is in the Trust File now. He had to get something right finally...

That being said I now have to complete the build and I am looking for recommendations based off of user/smith experience use for a Free Float Forearm.

Build Background: 9" inch AAC Barrel and the system will run suppressed (on occasion). With AAC Gas Block and Pistol Length Gas Tube.
Caliber: BLACKOUT...
Gas Block: H:1.316" X W: .903
Lower MFR: Engage!!!! on the original release build...

Questions:
1. Keymod: Make, Model, Weight, Length that you recommend and your Pros/Cons for recommendation. I do not require excessive accessories hanging off of the system.

2. Picatinny (industry standard): I have everything from YHM, DD to LMT on my current systems but I am always open to suggestions of others. If you have a favorite you run then?
A. Make, Model, Weight Length that you recommend and your Pros/Cons for recommendations.

3. Potential Accessories (Basics): BUIS, Sling Mount (QD), MAYBE...A Light or laser 580nm but not much real estate here..

4. Andy from Engage: If you see this can you share what you are recommending/using for your builds?

Once again actual experience of having what you recommend means allot...

Question:



You said keymod for the float rail and not many accessories. What accessories were you planning then? Foregrip? Angular grip? Optics?



I ask because I bought a Yankee hill free float with only about 5 inches of rail at the 90-180-270 positions at the end. This allowed me to attach a battle sight, a bipod(side mount) and a vertical grip. This is a long rifle .300 blackout made for precision hunting but the premise fits.



Your answers would change recommendations on the float barrel.

Give the EA branded Fortis REV rail a shot. You will have keymod at 9 and 3, but full rail and 12 and 6. Take a look at this post to see the pic of the 14" rail.

Andy and the guys do have shorter rails available.
