      Nothing wrong w/ Stag. I don't own 1 but know a few that do. If you don't want to wait weeks or months, then buy BCM, it will be at your door in a few days.

      I run ST-T2 buffer in my BCM 16" middy. Never had a problem w/ steel case or .223 . H buffer for my 14.5" middy. ETA - I use CS springs from brownells.

      Personal preference. My T1 is between the T6 & T12 notches. I've read that some people w/ astigmatism run theirs a little further back.

      Ar15 aimpoint mount Co witness question

      You can either get a spacer, pictured below. They come in 2 sizes, 30mm for absolute & 39mm for lower 1/3. Or you can go w/ a QD mount. I prefer QD & use ADM. The DD mount is cool but not QD. GG&G has a QD mount that incorporates lens covers but looks heavy. Quite a few choices out there for ya.

      Check your disco spring . Big end goes down . Maybe try a diff. one . Your mag catch might be out of spec. ( a little to high ) causing the carrier to drag . Lower could be out of spec too . Still doesn't explain the light hammer strikes though . Maybe weak ammo too .

      FFL called me at 10am today , my 2/12 was ready . I got over there around 11:30 . As I was parking my car they called me again to tell me my other 2 from 2/14 was ready . 60 & 58 days .
