Cleaning a new C&R gun
the Shark steam blaster worked great on my Mosin in getting all the cosmoline off and out. Took me about 30 minutes to get it fully stripped, cleaned, dried, lubed and back together.- MafiaConnected

Whats the legal barrel length in Maryland??
My AR has a 14" barrel and I got a 2" flash hider to avoid any problems. Not sure if the same applys to shotguns?- MafiaConnected

Wow! I guess I really didnt know all of what was involved in cleaning and maintaining this little piece of history!! Damn, I need to get a better work space setup just for this rifle!! Can someone school me on properly cleaning the Mosin? I just picked mine up and there is some light cosmoline coating, nothing too thick.
