that is not Thomas
Interesting why Ms West got the most votes, coin tosses?
If not Thomas, who dat?
There are 47 Senators, are there not? That's probably why the number is 24 to pass, as that's a majority of the body.
Time to play games. Appoint Jack M. We all know he would never pass confirmation, so he resigns " to spend more time with his family" just prior to his name being submitted to the committee and a fresh Joe Citizen is then appointed and submitted for approval. Could be a fun year.

Even better. Jack gets appointed, does the right thing for as long as possible, resigns to spend time with family, Joe Citizen is appointed then goes before Senate Nomination Committee and rants about how the 2nd Amendment should be all that is needed to get a permit, which insures he will not be confirmed. Reappoint Jack. Rinse and repeat.he would take that nomination.

Technically not a Senate majority, since Miller abstained. It looks like one senator was absent for the vote. If so, 23/22/1 should have resulted in Mr. Jurgena's retention - no?
Don't know, but this is Charles Thomas before Montoya near killed him..
NO!. Keep the organizations out of it. Let's get a regular Joe with strong, constitutional common sense.
Please see my post. Because you dont seem to know there is a difference between the 2 sets of money, IE Fed vs State. If someone isnt paying attention to the flow of money they wont know how effective my plan is. If you dont know the laws regarding the contributions then seeing that Steny has that money looks intimidating, but his money is worthless to the state level anti's. Heck even to go after Steny we would have to start a federal PAC, a state PAC cant; just like he cant help anyone we go after. I have described it several times. I have informed you of what both parties expect to raise. I have informed you of the typical amount of money raised by candidates, and I have explained how this will change many elections. This is how we change this state. I cant make anyone listen, nor can I make anyone participate. But this is the only path forward.
We cant sit on the sidelines hoping that someone else will change things for us. Its time to get off the sidelines and put our money where our mouths are and change some elections. We do this and we are no longer considered meaningless to any elected official. We will drive this conversation the way we want and we will change Maryland for the better.
Took awhile but here you go: a freeze frame from Delegate Mike Smigiel's video of his rejection by the old HPRB.
I take it this is Made Member Chairman Thomas with the fine nails and beautyful jewelry? (Cross-dressing pal J. Edgar Hoover would be soooooo envious).

You can be pretty sure that any votes resting on a one-vote margin are counted and orchestrated in advance. That's why it was delayed.
It's just not how America is supposed to work.
I can still hear him asking us "who invited you all here," and telling me "its time for you to get out" at the very first meeting I attended when he wanted to deliberate behind locked MSP doors.
