Can someone please explain to me what this "internet loophole" is that they keep talking about?

I understand that when they talk about the so-called "gunshow loophole" they are talking about face-to-face transfers in states that permit it between in-state transferees or between family members.... but what is this doo-doo about internet transfers without a background check??

If you are legally transferring across state lines, isn't an FFL a must? The only thing I can think of is C&R purchases, but even then, if there is no NICS check, you are still talking about federally licensed participants.

I have got to quit looking for logic in this crap... it gives me a headache.

I have always felt like a big sign should be posted at gun shows explaining about face to face sales where legal to debunk the loophole talk and compare the sale to like buying a car or a knife or birth control its up to the end user to be responsible for there actions,i already raised my two kids I don't want to raise somebody elses kids
