Many of you followed the thread about Wayne's collection. Since his passing his collection has transferred to his widow. I will be posting each gun as they become available.

Most of the remaining collection is C&R but there are a few modern items.

Please let me know by PM that you are interested in an Item. I will accept offers but they must be reasonable. If you see something that is priced way out of the market please feel free to let me know but be prepared to give me some comparisons.

I am not a dealer and am not making anything off of the sales of these firearms. All sales must go through an FFL or be legal for face to face sales in Maryland. Shipping is available at the buyers cost.

What's going on with the finish on the Tokarev? Is that just the lighting or has it been cold blued?

As we discussed on the phone it doesn't look cold blued to me. It appears to be a brown/blue finish with lots of wear. Hope to hear from you so we can meet up for you to take a closer look at it.

Thanks for pointing out the upside down logo on the right grip. I had not noticed it and it makes the gun even more interesting to me.

If anyone is interested in one of these guns please let me know. I will do everything I can to accommodate an inspection of the firearm before purchase.

It's not unheard of for the "CCCP" to be upside down on one or both grips on these.
Note also the "field expedient" repair on the firing pin retaining pin - should be a "split pin" but looks like a field or home repair.
I agree that the gun looks original with finish mostly worn off and turned a rich brown, and you can see the heat-treated area on the slide that's darker.
These are getting harder and harder to find in this unmolested, all-matching condition.

    HQL Required, not C&R.

    The S/N has a "V" prefix?
Also I think this was Australian, not Canadian see the chart below (note the D arrow D mark on right frame).

It should be C&R, made during WW2 and the "FTR / 53" indicates it underwent a Factory Thorough Repair in 1953 (probably where it was parkerized) so for sure it's 50+ years old,
and still in original configuration so should be eligible.

    Pretty nice write-up on these:

Thanks for the info. As you already know from purchasing a few items from this collection everything known about the guns is from the owner. Several items are miss marked and I am no expert on vintage firearms.

    It's all good !
I'm about wiped out right now so I'm just sitting on the sidelines.

I vaguely remember something interesting about the "X in a circle" on the trigger guard of that Manurhin PP.
I'll see if I can track it down, or maybe someone else will chime in.
That's a pretty nice pistol too!

Nice talking with you today! Sent you another PM on the Tokarev. I'm pretty sure we're good to go. In fact, I'm gonna' say "I'll take it". We just have to figure out the particulars.

    Any more1911s?

Did i miss the 1911s in the thread? I didn't see any, were there deleted posts? I'd also be interested in a 1911 if there are any.

There are several 1911's in the collection but none have been posted at this time. I will get to them as I go through the collection. I suggest subscribing to this thread if you are interested in buying vintage military firearms.
