The Burris mount will work well, I have a couple of them, though I opt for the QD versions, just personal preference.
Blue loctite 242 is what I use for scope ring screws and it can be broken loose by hand if need be (to remove the rings you have now). A little heat to the screw will help if necessary.
Personally, unless I have a short 1-4x tactical scope, or a red dot, I don't use sights. Most of my scoped AR's use up most all the room, no place to mount sights and they won't do any good unless you can remove the scope to use the sights. All of my scoped traditional rifles are sightless. Don't see a need for them, never needed them, the scopes have always worked fine. Using a red dot or shorty, low powered scope, you can set up flipup sights to cowitness with the optics, so you can just deploy them and look through the sights and scope at the same time, but with a higher powered scope, this won't work well at all..
