Its possession under 10 grams. We are not required to charge that. The officer can reguarless of the amount still charge the higher possession of marijuana if he or she wants.

It's at the officers discretion? Whats the point in having the citation amount if the cops can just up it to the full criminal amount?

Its called the ******* clause. If you an ******* you suffer, if you not you don't.

    Pretty much.
Disrecetion is a double edged sword that is a great tool force officers and a benefit to most citizens. 10 grams is a pretty good amount to have in your possession for "personal use". Weigh out 10 grams of dried parsley or oregano. Youwill see what I am talking about. Also if you have multiple poseesion arrest or other crimes on your record you dont deserve the break. That law is for the first timers and stupid kids.

    Who's definition of *******?

    A redneck wearing a 2A t-shirt in PG county is an "*******"?
In some places in the South just being a black man driving in the wrong area qualifies as an "*******"? (aka "DWB")
A Libtard driving their Prius with "Choose Civility" and Greenpeace stickers driving through Macon Georgia is an "*******"?

The "******* clause" is selective enforcement based on the officer's personal biases (we all have them) and whether he is having a bad day or not.
Selective enforcement is what got David Gregory a free pass while blatantly, openly committing a felony on national TV, and why Mark Witaschek is facing felony charges for having a single, nonfunctional shotgun shell found during a military-style, no-knock assault on his home.

Are you sure the "******* clause" is a good idea?

Whos "definition"? The LEO in control of the stop, that's WHO.

Its about how one interacts with a LEO. It has nothing to do with Race, Vehicle, Bumper Stickers, or Attire.

If it has to be explained then perhaps you have an issue with LEO interaction and nothing I say is going to "enlighten" or convince you otherwise. Act how you wish with a LEO and deal with the consequences.

    Sure.

Tell that to Scott Biumi. You know him right? He is the police officer who pulled a gun on the people in a car in the Mcdonalds drive through in front of him because they were taking too long.

There are more incidents at www.policemisconduct.net and other sites on the web.

But of course nothing I say is going to 'enlighten' or convince you otherwise.

I read your blanket post earlier that race, etc. NEVER plays into any of this. Essentially, it appears that it is your opinion that the only time LEO's give somebody a hard time is when that somebody is an arse, and NEVER because the LEO is biased or on a power trip. I'm pretty sure I can find a ton of minorities that would disagree with you. There seems to be this big broo ha ha about racial profiling, but I am sure that in your mind that is only happening because law enforcement officers have special omnipotent powers that allow them to figure out who the arses are before they pull them over and coincidentally they all happen to be minorities.

Threads like this are the exact reason we have trials and why I say ALL law enforcement should have cameras on them and be required to record everything whenever they are on duty. With great power comes great responsibility. Law enforcement has the power to shoot and kill people, and the power to arrest and potentially imprison people.

    Simple google searches of:

    Cops caught on tape
    Police caught on tape
    Police brutality
    Police racism

Google that and then tell me that NO LEO in existence has ever been racist, brutal, or on a power trip.

I've been trying to stay out of this thread because like most of the LEO bashing threads on here, a ton of facts are missing and the two stories are rather far apart. However, I know for a fact that not all cops are great cops, or even good cops as you try to make people believe. There is plenty of video evidence out there to support that FACT. The only questions are, which are the bad ones out there, how do we find them, and then what do we do with them.

So, the blanket statement that cops only harass arses is a crock.

I wonder if google will tell me that all lawyers are full of integrity. I guess they never do anything to ruin lives or the like.

If I'm pissing one off I'm probably on the right track.

Wait! Google says only cops do bad things. I guess every person in jail was innocent, just some JBT violating rights and fabricating evidence.

Judges and Doctors never mess up peoples lives either. Those damn cops.
