So I ended up with the Savage Rascal and it’s a really neat little gun. Worlds better than my first rifle. Matt at Archelon Defense hooked me up by ordering me one in the color I wanted. I find it amazing Bass Pro wasn’t helpful in checking the back for a green/gray one vs pink, otherwise I probably would have bought it that day. I’ll be taking it to Alejandro @Blue Customworks to engrave my sons name it.

Here’s a comparison of my first rifle given to me which sparked my interest in this sport/hobby and my sons new rifle.
Awesome, have same one in pink for my daughter.

I have the same Rascal in black for my girls. Adjustable irons, single shot, little bitty rifle. Perfect for introducing small, new shooters to the sport.

And the receiver has threaded for future scope rail if desired.

Bought it two weeks ago but haven’t yet introduced my girls to it.

Also have a Kidd chassis Supergrade on order with the custom chassis stock that runs a AR-15 style collapsible butt. Optioned it out to be as light as possible. Threaded barrel of course though for future suppressor. Should be a great rifle for anyone in the family, regardless of size and length of pull.
