With my HGL I'm shopping for 1st time in LONG time

I think most LGS would rather order what you want, rather than deal with GB. I would consider that...

Gun Broker is not the one sending the firearm,, the selling FFL is.
I have had a few "gun Broker" purchases,, none of the LGS that received/transferred them ever had a problem.

Do these local shops have an issue receiving any transfer from a FFL ?

That is what I perceive. The problem is that I've watched the typically advertised price of what I'm shopping for rise by 20% over the past month that his distributor has had no stock to supply my LGS. It' good to support one's local merchant but it's penalizing in these inflationary times.

I called around for transfer prices and specifically asked if they will accept a transfer on a hg they stock. It was not an issue for the gun shop or freestate

we accept them, but we might be at least an hour's commute (one way) for you.
