I went with a P64, but thought long and hard about one of the SKS rifles. Decided against it...didn't want to take a chance on the Type 56s. I had ordered a P64 from SOG and they called me 8 days later to say that didn't actually have one to ship to me. So they lost that business. I am interested in a CZ82 as well but will have to wait.

By the way, Wideners also has a couple different types of 7.62x39 ammo in stock as well...about $350 for 1000. You can only buy it by the 1000 case.

You have to have your C&R to have then delivered right to your door. You can still own them and have them shipped to your FFL if you want to own them and you dont have a C&R.

Some of the CZ 82's are too new to be sold at an FFL in Marylandistan. I think the cut-off for NOT being on the roster is 84/85? The CZ 82 is NOT on the roster? Not sure, can't find any CZ on the Maryland Roster, might be listed as something else?

Thanks for the heads up. Been looking for a Polish Tokarev 7.62x25, but might just have to jump on these cz-82s.

    @Yellowsled
Thanks for the comments. Those Yugo SKS's are so nice and shiny. I'm pretty happy with my Chinese SKS, beat up stock and all. Do the Yugo 59's have chrome barrels and by 'cut' I'm guessing you mean they are not true arsenally redone models?

I ordered a Chinese SKS when there were only 32 left. Can anyone tell me the history of these rifles? Were these the ones sent to Eastern Europe?

Tempting deals. But I think I am going to spend my money on a non-C&R 9mm before that ******** law takes effect. If I had more disposable income, I'd be all over these.

Thoughts on the P38's they're selling?

    Force matched.

    Thanks.

Not seeing them... I see newer p1s at widners and sold out p38s at Classic? I'll be honest, if you don't mind the import mark, and you have your C&R, you can usually find really nice Russian captured p38s at auction for about 5 bills (usually less). PM me if you want more info. I've picked up several nice ww2 p 38 shooters this way.

    Thanks.

From the description, it looks like they are put together from various guns and laser engraved with a new S/N or an S/N from one of the existing parts, thus force matched. Not really matching S/N's.

    I went through this before.
    Look for
    "BRNO or CZ"
First page in the B section
    http://www.mdsp.org/Organization/SupportServicesBureau/LicensingDivision/HandgunRoster.aspx

CZ82 is in both the Maryland list and C&R list.
