I found these 5.56 while picking up brass and could not believe even shooting this ammo. One primer was high and one fell out.

That's very nice looking compared to other reloaded rounds I've found at the range. WTH people are thinking trying to shoot it is beyond me. Apparently they don't value their own safety.

Looks like somebody put in a 7-08 or 308 seater die in the press while trying to seat bullets in a 280 or 06 respectively. The brass was scrap, but why didn't whoever pull the bullets????? Can you even push the shoulder that far back in the correct die?

You can do that with a Lee collet die if it's not adjusted properly. The stupid part is that someone did did it, then put powder in it, then seated a bullet in there.

    Like so:

In light of a few threads like this, I check all of my ammo before shooting. Thankfully I've never had a problem, just a dud or two.

The ammo is reloaded LC 5.56mm.

I've done this once. I don't remember which die I used to do that, but I remember ramming the case into the die and it came out looking like that. No bueno.

That can also happen when you inadvertently place the case on top of the S/H (instead of IN the S/H) when you seat a bullet. I can see it happening once, but 5 times? :nono:
