I refuse! I consider that the equivalent of going along to get along. I have committed no crimes and I simply will not tolerate being treated otherwise. Consequently, my plan to leave The Peoples Hypocrisy of Marylandistan has accelerated because I can't convince enough fellow residents that you are better off defending yourself than banking on someone who, the Supreme Court ruled in 2005, is not obligated to assist. I can't take it so will be exiting stage south!

    False information.

SCOTUS never made such a ruling.

The SCOTUS ruled that LEA/LEOs could not be held liable for damages in the event that someone became a victim of a crime.

Yes there IS a difference.

I don't have mine yet. I just set up the fingerprints for next week. Looking forward to getting that done so I can finish the HQL app.

Be patient......hql apps are being processed 30 days + waiting physically to have card in hand

Thanks for the advice. I'm a pretty patient guy so it won't be an issue. Hopefully I don't have one of those nightmare scenarios that I've heard/read about where fingerprint data is lost or some other dumb thing prolongs the agony.

Don't sweat it. Expect it to look like one or more items is holding up the show as the 30-day mark approaches. Then suddenly everything changes to completed the day they mail the card.

    yes, it's true.

Not fully sure on this one. I had to send a Glock back for a hot round blowing up the gun. (split the polymer frame)

Because it came back with a new serial number, I had to not only submit that paperwork to MSP, I also had to utilize my HQL to re-receive my gun that I had already owned for years.

No way, I am not going to just hand over info that is not necessary. Utah already has all my info from my out of state permit form 2010. I suppose that I wont be allowed to renew that when it expires in May.

Why do you say you won't be able to renew your Utah permit? It has nothing to do with an HQL.
