As for myself: phone, lighter, smokes, wallet, pen/pencil, and either a Kershaw Funxion or Cryo II. LOVE the Funxion because it is a big ol' knife that fits well in my hand, and I can be ROUGH with it without fear of breaking it. Cheap too and holding an edge very well.

They are fantastic! They are as good or better than most LED lights from about 4 years ago costing over 30 times as much! I carry a Fenix E15 on my key chain and have an 800 lumen PD32 Ultimate for heavy illumination capable of extended run times, but when I saw the reviews for these Cree joints and the price, I had to bite. I didn't expect much but they blew me away. I've ordered a few more to place throughout the house, car, etc. I figured the lens systems on them would be cling wrap but they are robust, clear, and well-designed to give a satisfying throw.

Most of those models using AAs is also awesome for me as I've got a ton of Tenergy and eneloop high-performance NiMH cells that run about twice that of alkalines and can do about 1500 charge cycles...which is a lot more cost effective than CR123s.

It's crazy what 3 bucks can buy in China...

It's not as bright or as small as my E15, but it was 4 bucks delivered!!! They say 300 lumens which is a bit of an overstatement...but its still very bright and it has a good throw.
