I've been curious about Slip 2000 EWL since I've been told that is essentially absorbs into the metal and gives a dry to the touch feeling while continuing to lubricate.

I run it exclusively, it's not dry to the touch, but it's great stuff.

Haven't lubed the AR in close to 5 months, still looks as wet as the day I applied it.

Very cool, I wonder if any IPs carry it. I'd love to try it out.

Edit: In case anyone was wondering, Gun Connection has several flavors of EWL.

yea, the bolt group right???? not the weenis!!

It'd probably do well there too, it does claim to cut down on friction...

I have put about 800 rounds on my AR and i have not cleaned once yet, wanted to see how many rounds it could take before starts to jam, then i will proceed with the cleaning part.

Was that before or after you had the little :gun2: problem?

    Before, during, and after. :o

I may have been a bit exuberant in soaking the bolt down and running it near dripping wet... :innocent0

Pity..., dialed down my loads, went lighter on the lube, new bolt/firing pin - I no longer have that issue, I kind of miss it if I'm honest...
