That's the point. He's trusting the instructor over the effort to look up law. As most people will.Ask him to show you the statute or COMAR
He can’t

Tell him 1st Sgt. Pickle of the Licensing Division, MSP said so.I tried that angle. He said "He's an an instructor sooo....". I know I'm trying to prove a positive (there's no negative law), but any literature from the State on the subject would be great.
The trainer is trash, but people who believe "trainers" gonna believe trash
Only Law Enforcement. So if you are the one stopping the threat are you professionally bound to attempt to save their life after?
Did you take a dual class? DC is like that.I think this is a new one?
Because the qualification paper shows which caliber you qualified with, you can't legally carry with any other caliber/gun other than what you qualified with. Please show me somewhere that proves this is untrue. I know it is, but my neighbor is adamant because his trainer "knows his sh!t"
I bet that trainer would be happy to re-teach the course for each caliber a student wanted to qualify with.I think this is a new one?

Who was your instructor, 2A Maryland?I learned that a lot of registered dems attended my class who are essentially to blame for voting anti gun politicians into office and were taking advantage of the fact MD is shall issue.
Here i was thinking it would be a bunch of pro-gun men/women with years of gun experience and knowledge that would be in attendance only to have the class held up by 1000 what if's by people who are first time gun owners.
All while the instructor was spewing out false info like " you cant open carry". I didn't hesitate to correct considering the seriousness of carrying
How do you mean? Does DC make you carry the gun you qualify with?Did you take a dual class? DC is like that.
He had them "qualify" with each caliber so they were "covered"I bet that trainer would be happy to re-teach the course for each caliber a student wanted to qualify with.
YesHow do you mean? Does DC make you carry the gun you qualify with?
No. You can qualify with any gun but have to carry the one(s) you have registered with the MPD.
NO !
Ermuhgersh! I qualified on a Sunday! Does that mean I can only carry on Sundaze?
A range in MoCo lol. Im sure there were duplicates of him all over the state.Who was your instructor, 2A Maryland?
ThisNO !
DC does require that whatever gun(s) you carry must be registered with DC , but not required to be same actual gun , or same caliber as you Qualified with .
