I resized, deprimed and cleaned all of my Grendel brass. In the middle, I battled the worst stuck case in my reloading history. I spent a solid 45 minutes getting this thing out of my die.

That's definitely an outdoors toy. Lol!If I ran that in the house, you guys would be attending a funeral for sure.
I remembered when I didn't get mad about losing 2 primers on the floor.
You use pins with this method?
After you do that a couple of times, you will definitely use more spray on lube.
Thanks Mike!No, walnut..
I use mine outside, mostly because of noise, but stuffing a 5gal bucket into the opening will prevent dust .
I use lanolin and 91% alcohol in a gallon ziploc bag. I massage the bag for a few minutes then dump the brass into a cardboard box and let the alcohol evaporate. I have an issue in, maybe, 1 in 700 rifle cases. I noticed the weep hole in the die was clogged, which likely caused this issue. It is in the ultrasonic right now.
One of these will speed up that process.Spent an hour measuring and sorting 500pcs of 5.56 brass to see what needs to be trimmed, what is good, and what is going to end up as 300BLK in the future.

I use mine on my drill press. It flies through brass. Anything that doesn't trim(you can tell by feel) goes into a different container where it gets measured. Thanks for the link. That looks so much better than using the Hornady bench mounted trimmer and constantly measuring.
With my fingers? How do you hold the case on the drill press?
Mine are the older caliber/case specific types. I have a 5.56 and a 300 blk.For those considering the WFT2, two thoughts. One, pay attention to case FAMILIES when ordering. As an example, you can order a .243 insert.
But because these trimmers index on the case shoulder, ordering the larger .308 insert will ALSO cover you for .243, .260 Rem. and 7mm-08 as well. DO research this before ordering!
Two, the WFT2 differs from the original WFT not only in that it uses inserts, but in that it also requires a drill with a 1/2 inch chuck to drive it.
