WOW!...how much CFEBLK? I happen to have a couple pounds

12.5 grains, cartridge OAL 2.06". Gave me 1045fps with single digit ES. This was out of my TC Encore with a 9" Bullberry barrel and 10" form 1 suppressor (pinned and welded).

Pulled my last 300 processed 300bo brass off the shelf, and was pleasantly surprised to find them all primed and ready :D

So I'm putting 18.1gr of H110 under the 125gr pulled pills I got from American last month.

Good enough for banging steel at the getaway this Spring.

I have about 2000 LC 5.56 brass headstamp sorted and stockpiled for processing. I burned out my HF mini-chopsaw during the last run and haven't setup the new one yet. There's a guy on MeWe selling 3D printed vacuum attachments for the HF saw that I'll probably try out during the next run.

If anyone knows of a source for in stock once fired 357 mag brass send me a PM please. I'm down to my last 250 and I'm loading some test batches for my new rifle. Once I get the best round worked up I'm going to throw together about 500 or so. Just need the brass. I can find new brass but $70 (or more) per 100 isn't going to work for me..

    thanks

I got a half gallon baggie of range pickups, mixed headstamps and no guarantee of once fired. If you ever get over to Cecil way and are desperate

Finished prepping some more 223 brass... threw a whole pile of prepped 223 brass into the wet tumbler to go clean off any remaining brass shavings.

I did have an interesting experience with the Lyman M-die - had the expander bit in it unthread on me from the bottom, which caused all sorts of inexplicable weirdness. Once I figured it out, everything was alright, but this is just another reason to go with the NOE expanders in my book.

It needs to be in the instructions for M dies that you need to disassemble, degrease, and loctite the expander as step 1 before setting up the die. This will inevitably happen somewhere down the road otherwise.

On topic, washed and dried some new to me 357 mag brass.

The reason the expander is replaceable is that, back in the old days, you would by one body and multiple expanders. Since we were only using single stage or turret presses back then, this saved a lot of money. Today, where you are using Dillon machines, it is not practical so they really ought to Locktite them at the factory.

Went to the range, tested my powder puff 357 Mag loads. Barely any recoil out of my new-to-me S&W R8. Awesome. Impacts were about where I wanted them, too. Checked my brass later and found that a 38 Special had snuck in there! Thankfully the powder charge I'm using is basically max 38 Special +P in a pretty beefy revolver, so no big deal.

Went back home, loaded up a bunch more of them. I'm using CCI primers (ugh in revolvers) and all-lead American Reloading pulls (double ugh), so this is all practice rounds anyways. When I get some Federal SPPs again, I'll buy some better bullets and load up some proper rounds for Steel Challenge.

Loaded a little more 357 Mag this morning. Needed to clear out the case feeder so I could install a different spacer (coming Sunday).

Sorted 3 more 5 gallon buckets of WW the other night, will either melt them down tonight or Tomorrow then process the last batch of brass I have sitting on my bench then load up some reduced loads with casts to play around with.
