Black Bartmunk accepts the challenge for the title...The Chip of Munks.
I’m suspect of friends of yours…Full disclosure, our OP here is a friend of mine, but we haven't discussed this class.
I think a lot of experienced shooters go in to a W&C class and expect to learn something about wearing and carrying. Maybe some thoughts on holsters and concealment garments. If I went for a W&C and got a basic safety class I'd probably be pretty disappointed.
So am I, they associate with me. That's suspicious as hell.I’m suspect of friends of yours…
I won't speak for him. Many of our MDS personalities are unique people.I understand that... and appreciate that... but said person may try being a little less condescending... just sayin'
Didn't pick up on that. AA County and a bad female trainer means one place...you don't know who he is talking about when he says "she " multiple times ? you don't get to anne arundel county much .
At no point was I trying to to be condisending. Not all of a person's intent can be clearly portrayed through words over the internets.I understand that... and appreciate that... but said person may try being a little less condescending... just sayin'
But, clearly, as always, it should be my choice. We don't need training to exercise a right.
I've been saying this for years. People need to stop worrying about nice dime groups. Start thinking about point shooting ,back plating, and all things defensive. Shooting off hand.I was challenged to think about the differences between target shooting and defensive shooting.

I agree, AND yet, if one carries and wants to improve upon the many aspects of defense, good vs bad shoots, laws, safe practices, then by all means get additional training to become a better and safer shooter. But, clearly, as always, it should be my choice. We don't need training to exercise a right.
Blaster, I saw this good video illustrating your point that I posted elsewhere.I've been saying this for years. People need to stop worrying about nice dime groups. Start thinking about point shooting ,back plating, and all things defensive. Shooting off hand.
You must not have seen the Isosceles Stance of Death.Modified Weaver, Disbeliever!!!!
Ha, I said pretty much the same thing and was told that I wouldn't be welcome at one particular trainer here's classroom. Good times, lol.Full disclosure, our OP here is a friend of mine, but we haven't discussed this class.

JFC! So, when the instructor rolls video and asks the class, "Shoot, or No Shoot?" do they use the applause meter to get an answer?Ha, I said pretty much the same thing and was told that I wouldn't be welcome at one particular trainer here's classroom. Good times, lol.
On a side note, I saw on FB today that a local (to me) instructor had 120 students in a class today. Now I know what he charges and would be a little beyond pissed if I rolled up and it was a recreation of a typical U of MD college class.
