    Back in MD sadly
Hmmm, I want a 20". Regulated or non? I got my Saiga 308 unregulated, with standard stock. Vepr 54r with thumbhole stock, no bayo lug, no flash suppressor or muzzle brake should be good to go, cash and carry legally per 96-1, no?

Yes as long as it was imported as it was then it is not considered an "AW" and therefore not regulated.

How do you like this weapon? Ive heard mixed reviews about using surplus 54r in them....seems like most people slug the barrel to see what size bullet will work the best/safest

Haven't fired it yet. The question over what round they are chambered for is internet bs. It is all related to how the fins measured their ammunition. It is chambered for 54r. The only ones I have seen that don't work well have a ton of cosmoline still in the chamber or are shot out with terrible throat wear. Mine has a GREAT barrel and when I find time I'll shoot the hell out of it.
