    This video seems like the best evidence the driver could ask for. Seems like his actions were in response to a visible threat.

    I'm sure the cyclist did nothing wrong, and went into the work zone to tell the guy he had a burnt out tail light.

    Looks like the important part is missing as far as what led up to this. Unless the motorcyclist said something like “I’m going to hurt you” I can’t see pulling out your heater because the guy is walking towards you. Maybe keep it on your lap in case he’s a psycho but don’t point it at him like you’re the psycho.
    What was the outcome of this?

    Biker was wearing a helmet (although the visor was open), so pepper spray may not have been effective. The only other non-lethal I can think of would be a taser or a byrna with "kinetic" projectile capsules for the same reason.... although maybe the dispersal would be better with the pepper/pepper + CS capsules? Who knows.

    to see the previous couple of minutes that led up to this.
