On jan 14th of 2015 I bought the mag pul lever, havn't been there since. Coincidentally exactly 1 year later I go there again and make another purchase.

I wonder what I should buy on jan 14th 2017.

Felt like chiming in on the quality of United Gun Shop. Bought my second and third firearms from them and used them to transfer my fourth. And that's despite the fact that they're on the other side of the Beltway for me. The shop as a whole is stand up and the guys who man it are fantastic. Being somewhat atypical as a gun owner in MD (half Indian and heavily bearded) I get a lot of weird looks and odd behavior from clerks at other shops, but not from these guys. They even treated my elderly Indian dad very kindly and happily took guns off the wall for him to play around with. You can expect a pretty stellar experience there and the prices are not bad if you use their online store. Got my S&W 686+ for well below what I was expecting. On top of that, they almost always respond to emails same day, sometimes in minutes. And that includes legal inquiries and the like.

Special shout out to John who educated me on AR 15 laws and gave me the advice needed to get started on my 300blk pistol build.

In short, they'll be seeing a lot of me in the future. Great atmosphere especially for a newbie like me.

Yeah, one more belated thank you to everybody at United - I picked up that SP101 from them back in, uhm, December? Yeah, mid-December, and am currently being tempted by yet another .357 there. This is just from the consignment section, which I really should know by now to resist visiting.

But I was honestly just in the neighborhood and I heard something calling me from in there...

Whatever you do, Brian/Cory/George, do not PM me about that wheelgun to tempt me to come in and haggle about it! That would be bad and naughty, like leading a junkie to meth...



G-d help me if I ever go in there and see a nice old M1 carbine on the wall -- oh wait.

Well, at least there's no Henry hanging there yet!

Yes, I'm a satisfied customer. The wife, by the way, really liked that SP101 when I took her to the range with it. I think it just became hers.
