Ultramax Ammo

Has anyone had any issues with ultramax ammunition. 308 to be exact

Used to buy their 357 SIG and never had any problems with that.

Just that it's really dirty. Most of their stuff that I shot is dirty.

Like others I used to shoot their .357 Sig as it was the cheapest around. Have shot some of their 5.56/.223 in competition with good results also. While I have some of their .308 I have not shot any as of yet, sorry.

Ultramax did recognize the issue and admitted to have had this happening in the past, This occured in lots prior to 2008

Looks like I'll be cleaning the HK a bit more frequently. Just bought a whole bunch in 357 Sig.

I've shot a lot of their 9mm and .223 and I don't consider it dirtier than any other manufacturer (like Remington, Blazer, FLC, Wolf Gold, etc.)
Hopefully the .308 would be similar.

Ultramax has always been fine just burned dirty!
