Yet another good reason to consider a variable.Just keep in mind, that depending on the target (bullseye vs. steel silhouette) too much magnification isn't always better. Mirage can be a bitch.
Even for the money they get for a MK4 8.5-25x, it's still a jump up to get to Nightforce. I have a 3.5-15x50 and two 5.5-22x50s and those rascals are pretty spendy. I would love to have one of their new model FFPs with the zero stop, but those guys are *really* up there. Sh!t & Bendover are also very high dollar for models in this magnification range. I have looked at and shot through several USOs and I just can't see spending the extra $500-600 over a NightForce. I take particular exception to their very short and critical eye relief. A friend has two and the new USO spotter, and while they are all supposed to have the same "MOA" (LOL, really "inch per hundred yards") reticle, none of the three look the same. Their CS is TOPS though, never seen better support on something like that. For the coin you're looking at, also consider US Optics, Nightforce, or S&B
There can be some very good deals over there, sometimes gets pretty tedious waiting it all out.Keep an eye out on SH for group buys on optics.
Definitely. Heckuva deal on a very nice scope.Just a heads up, I just bought something similar from Midway.
The C&R discount was $250!
Well worth it!
