I bet you're right!...Unfortunately, this was a SWAT members rifle, and I don't have it here to photograph anymore. I'll do it with another rifle on my next shoot.

To the dismay of many proffessionals...I shoot Nikon. The pros will tell you that you have to run a Canon if you want to be really good.:)

I figure I should post up a picture of my vary basic AR ;)

Flip up sights and Eotech will hopefully be on by next spring.

Actually, Nikon is the pro's choice; I shot with one professionally for 17 years.

It's a Blue Force Gear padded bungee single point sling with a QD attachment. I'm running a Noveske minimalist end plate on the lower.

The Noveske end plate should become OEM on all lowers IMHO..the set up is perfect for support side transitions. It never gets in the way of my grip, and doesn't jingle like Magpul's ASAP.

How, and where can I get one?

Many sites will email you when an item is back in stock so you can jump on them and place an order.
I know that Bravo Company does as well as G&R Tactical, so that is an option.

    Put this together last week.

14.5" Bushmaster 1:7 barrel w/YHM extended FH perm attatched
    SI Defense lower
    YHM upper receiver
Rock River FA bolt carrier w/Colt bolt
    Bushmaster carry handle
    Rock River LPK
Magpul MOE stock set and grip
Stubby foregrip by some dude on arfcom who makes them out of Delrin. Perfect for indexing.

This one will stay simple just the way you see it. It is light as hell.

Did you take advantage of SI Defense's $50 forged lower sale?

Pay no attention to the missing parts, I have the rest of the build, but I am not sure if I should use the DD LPK when I already have a Giessele SSA, or is I sould sell the lpk and get a Grant Tac LPK sans the parts I already have...

Honestly, I was thinking that I would end up saving 15-20 dollars by selling my dd kit and buying a G&R kit. But after typing that I realize that it would be kind of a pain to go that route and since G&R is out of kits I think I am going to use the DD LPK and have a spare FCG in the tool box (and thats scary as I understand that spare parts tend to turn into rifles).

Very nice, just about the same build I want to do. Only 2 things Im going to different are 11.5 barrel and I may remove the front site for a flip up.
