I use one of Mike's "dottrio" mugs because to try and fit one of my clown feet into a pic without it taking up the whole screen is near impossible.

Don't mean to go off topic but I have seem this alot. What is the deal with feet in the picture? Is that to prove that it your picture and not some file photo or something?

    .,

No, there's just a few of us that have some kind of sick foot fetish...

It's just something that started when a few folks got a foot or toes in a picture. It's all in jest.

Would a bolt action 50 cal, etc, be built from that?
No, it's basically an AR with no magazine capability, thus making it a single shot AR rifle. Still the same semi-auto AR configuration, but you shoot, the bolt locks back, you drop in a round, release the bolt lock and shoot again.

Yes. You can find this combination at Safety Harbor Firearms. I've posted pictures with my 50 bmg and it has a regular 5.56 lower with the magwell. I figured I'd buy the lower to match the upper and use the 5.56 lower for another build.

My upper has a 5 round mag off to the side of the upper, so it's not actually a single shot lower. But since you can't feed the firearm from the lower using a mag, I call it a single shot lower.

No, that's not why you'd buy this lower. This is why you buy this lower.

This picture shows the 50 bmg upper on a standard 5.56 lower. I bought the single shot lower as a replacement. I'll use the 5.56 lower for another build later on.

But this is what some people call an AR50.
