The one on top is a DBAL made by Laser Devices...it can emit a visible red laser or an IR laser or an IR laser with IR illuminator. The tan one on the side is a Surefire weapon light capable of emitting white light or IR light.

Can anyone explain backwards AR-15 flip up sights?

I've tried the MBUS sights both ways and find that 'backwards' is easier (for me) to deploy, and sighting is not affected.
Bottom line... they work either way.

THINK WHAT STUFF?okay you got me, i use them to spy on my neighbors daughter when she is on the porch naked at night. so what other purposes do NVG's, laser designators and flashlights serve besides seeing shit at night and signaling? If you can spare the time pm me so i dont clog up this thread please.

night vision googles enable you to see at night.
the laser designater helps extend the capabilities of the googles and mark objects for other NV applicants to see.

and the flash light is a flash light. what else is there for me to think?

Rainier Select is what I wanted but they are never in stock. I got this from Weapon Outfitters. I haven't shot it yet since I just installed it Saturday. Hopefully this weekend.
