it gets pretty warm, never too hot, but I use the vertical grip, so it doesn't effect me anyway.

Here's my SLR-95 on top(1) and MAK-90 with 3 different sets of furniture. (2,3,4)

That top one was the deciding factor in making an AK the next gun I'll be looking to get.

This one was once an NHM91. I chopped it down and unbanned it. Its still a work in progress. I want to put on a Texas Arms Top Rail, Cut the dust cover and weld on a left side charging handle. Not sure on what optics to choose yet though. Its a heavy barreled short AK that shoots quite well compared to other AK its size.

Heres my PSL. I did a ton of custom smithing to it. The scope in the pic is no longer installed. It now has a Russian 8X POSP which is more "correct" for this type of weapon, and the bipod is now removed (Used only for initial relaibility and testing/photo purposes).

Sadly due to a tight budget, I have to sell her to have money for my kids this coming Christmas. , but my kids happiness is worth it.

This is my AK, her name is Veronica. She has Ironwood furniture that I refinished, RSA Trigger, Larue Irondot, Polished Bolt and internals and is generally the star of the rack when I have her at the shop.
