Not in Maryland, so thanks for letting me join the forum. For the intents & purposes of me being a member here, I guess you could call me a Beretta collector.
I'm looking for information or leads on a rare Beretta model, that AFAIK was exclusively issued to Montgomery County PD officers around the turn of the century. In Beretta terminology it would be known as a 92D Brigadier, i.e. a DAO version of the popular 9mm but with a heavier slide, dovetailed front & rear sights and no external safety.
My understanding is that MCPD under Chief Moose replaced them with Glocks in the early 2000s, but I am unsure of where they went.....it doesn't seem like ~1000 of them made it to the used market as police trades.
Thanks in advance!
