Sweet! Where is Whiteford again?
not familiar
I am registered and vote Republican.
I belong to this forum which I see now is the beginning to the my march for gun rights.
That's a start, but consider that less than 5% of people who own guns are a part of the NRA which is the largest gun rights organization.
People think nothing of plunking down $400 on a scope but won't give the NRA or another organization $25 to defend the right to use the gun it's on.

Maryland is headed in NY's direction with the long gun registry ...
I guess OWE'Malley will come in a close 2nd to Cuomo,
YupIm right down 165 in Jarrettsville. I have my own range here too, as do a lot of others around me. Weekends turn into a uh measuring contest to see who can make the most noise sometimes.

My opinion: based on comments I see on this board and from talking to people I know, I would venture to guess that 95% of Marylanders do not have any clue how intrusive and onerous FSA2013 was. People on this board know but that's a small percentage of MD population as a whole. It's not until one of the uneducated tries to purchase something that they find out how truly effed up this state is. What really disheartens me is to see MGA going after even more restrictions. they will not be happy until all guns are gone from the state, and I am getting too old and too tired to fight.
I googled Whiteford . But your directions were off. Banjos and sounds of shooting leads you to Nanjemoy.
42 years in MD and now I live in WV. Go into a LGS and 15 minutes later you are out with the firearm. Not to mention permitless open and concealed carry.my next move (retirement) will likely be to WV or PA. After having lived 43 of my 46 years in MD. Sad.
