So, while driving through downtown Texas today... I notice that there is a new restaurant opening soon.

La Tolteca is to open up in the 10000 block of York Rd. in Texas Md.

    (That's between Timonium and Cockeysville.)

I hope the food is good...

Learn something new every day.... I always thought that area was called "Taint".

As in, 'taint Timonium, and 'taint Cockeysville.

They've been working on it for about 3rd now. We have every cuisine imaginable here except for a decent Mexican restaurant.

The last one around here was overpriced and only lasted a couple of months.

Which is surprising, considering how many Spanish speaking folks have taken over Cockeysville....

It's a landfill, and one side of York Rd!!!

    :D

    OK, and a firehouse.

It's a neighborhood that has been there for centuries. And it is a quarry that has built nearly all of the roads around the central Maryland area and supplied calcite to industry world wide. It is a town that progress gobbled up by an industrial park that took over and changed the area from Texas to Hunt Valley for the sake of some pompous developer who did not want to call the industrial park Texas or Cockeysville. And now it's the new home of a Mexican restaurant. :party29:
