To hit the target, maybe?
I'm just grasping here...
If you can get the 41 for a couple hundred bucks buy it quick. I sold one in very nice condition at HoCo show 2 years ago for a very nice price. If I knew you liked the S&W 41 you could have had it.Well, I am pretty sure I can get couple hundred buck deal on it.
You are looking at the herd of a 1970's era serious bullseye shooter.
Added - My guess is he recently passed away, and family is clueless.
Not yet. But close. So she's starting the process. Old high school friend who wants nothing to do with them. There are more.
And he was a serious 60&70's bullseye shooter.
Gonna be some reloading equipment too. I'm going to take a look at things sometime next week.
Let us know what else you find. Either a S&W Model 41 or a High Standard from that era are great finds so far.
I paid $1100 for my S&W Model 41 of that era. It came in a custom wooden box with a second upper and early 80's aimpoint. Buy it now. They are insanely accurate.
I need to see this is person...
Can't see exactly what it is, obviously 1911, but I'm guessing either pre-war or WW II-era Colt. Family heirloom? It would be cool to know the story behind it.
The 41 is SWEET!
Stupid, silly accurate!

I might be a player. Pretty sure I can get an unbelievable deal.
Grab the Model 41, especially if you can get it for a few hundred dollars.
I try to collect them and every one of the older ones are phenomenal target guns.
