Tac Sol SBX shipping to MD?

Is there any reason the Tactical Solutions SBX upper can't be shipped to MD? Midwest Gun Works says

"This Item cannot be shipped to Connecticut, Washington DC, Maryland, and New York."

If the shroud is not welded on the SBX is an SBR since the barrel is under 1inches. Maybe they have issues thinking MD is going to outlaw these kinds of things also.

I got an SB-X barrel from Engage. I think I saw one in there last weekend.

The shorter sbx barrel will actually produce higher velocities in the 22lr. As compared to an 18".pipe.

Increased velocities equate to added decibels when you run suppressed. Or run subsonic rounds off the bat.
