I was just at my gunsmith's shop picking up an AR upper when I noticed they had a display case full of S&W Model 10s. They have 30 working ones on hand, all for less than $300. IIRC the lowest priced one was $250. They were all trade-ins from a security company, so they were worn a lot but shot very little. One had a set of laminate grips with the brass S&W medallions. I don't have the funds for one of them right now, as I spent a lot of my fun money on a couple of ponies.

I really enjoy seeing all these great S&Ws.....especially revolvers. I am a collector of S&Ws...revolvers and 3rd Gen pistols mostly.

I don't usually post any pics....but figured what the hell.

One of these days Ill get them out and take better pictures...this is my handgun safe...there is a few Smiths in it...

Yeah, those are more common. I had am heck of a time finding the NS version, but I also lucked out and got it for a crazy good price considering they carry an $80ish premium over the FO version.

I have (2) 1006s and a 1066, but no decockers....

Very tough to find...I'm jealous!!

you mean frame mounted decockers? i found mine on gun broker. most were under 1k
