Sig Mosquito Feed Ramp

I have heard of people grinding down the feed ramp and polishing it for better reliability. Has anyone here done this and have pictures, or is this something to send to my gunsmith?

You should let a pro do it. You could make it worse instead of better.

yes i did it on mine, more of like taking out the burr not grinding it for smoothness.

never had to do a thing to mine. it just worked after the spring change and the break-in period

Mine came with 2 springs. The stiffer one came installed and shot it as it was. Had nothing but issues with everything except mini-mags. Hence the mini-mag myth with sigs.
Changed the spring out to the lighter ones and immediately was able to shoot most anything after that.
Your gun should have come with 2
