You got some really nice blades I'm just a bit jealous, but I like my wallet full, a collection like that would make me a poor man.

Ebay had 20% off, I had a gift certificate from work, so went poking around for a new blade. Found a verified dealer with a good price, and decided to pick up a WE Karambit, might be a relatively impractical blade, but lookks awesome, and I've wanted one for a while. Pocket milled Ti scales, milled clip, ceramic pivot and lock bar bearings, a solid Ti backspacer/ring, S35VN, overall fit/finish is epic, The blue stonewash finish with the satin washed blade looks awesome. While the shape isn't the most practical it does rip open mail and breaks down boxes just fine, and is fun to fidget around with. It is inherently designed as a defensive blade, and the shape, comfortable and secure grip with the stout framelock would help it do well in that role, it lacks a wave opener, and has a single side clip only, which detract from a knife built around a mostly reverse-grip technique. There is a flipper technique I've seen Doug Marcaida use where the knife is drawn in a "pinch" grip, and the thumb flips the tab, seems to work strong or weak side, although is a bit awkward without practice, it does draw and deploy easy enough in a traditional forward grip Definitely won't be my last WE or Karambit.

Some recent finds, German gravity knives, Italian switchblades, and a Russian Kindjal assault knife.

    That's sweet.

I went to small knife show looking for a hunting knife for one of the grandkids and ended up buying a Schrade LB7 NIB with all the paperwork and it still had the protective coating on the brass, also got a Germany Solingen fixed blade

My EDC recipe, by way of Benchmade and Leatherman. I’d feel naked without.
