Been waiting to contribute. This is my new HD shotgun project that I've been working on for a little while now. It's a Mossberg 500, with an 18" HD barrel.

I added an ATI collapsible stock with shell holder, a side saddle shell holder, heat shield, new hogue forend, and also duracoated all the main parts with matte black. No sights yet, but I am working on that, I have been doing a piece at a time. But sights I don't think are as necessary for the HD gun.

Would that be a s&w3000 I have one its a 12ga and I love it it holds the tightest pattern and will really reach put down quite a few pheasant and sharptail

Hey guys, I noticed a few Saiga fans here. I just got an rush order for a custom Saiga 12. My normal channels cant ship in time. Anyone know of anyone close that has some in stock, or perhaps someone would like to sell one?

Preferably one that has not been converted yet, but really no big deal either way.

Remington 870 20g Tacticool ...

I guess I'll post my virgin 870 tactical, she's only had 15 shells through her. Installed a Tacstar side saddle the second I removed it from the box. Already ordered a Tacstar remote end cap for my Surefire G2. Hopefully it will withstand the 12 ga, but I'm not sure if I'll even use it at the range. Now I need a mount for it. Eventually a front sight or micro-dot for the rear rail a recoil-reducing stock (2 3/4 slugs feel like someone punching me as hard as they can) and of course a sling..from there who knows, if anything else..

Here's a blast from the past. I was going through the safes today, as I've been thinking of "thinning the herd." I found a beautiful little gun that I haven't looked at or shot in several years.

At first glance, you might say, "Hmmm - Model 12." Nope. A mini-Model 12!! In the 90s, Browning reissued the Winchester Model 42 .410. They came in 2 grades: Grade 1 and Grade 5. They made 6000 of each. The Old Man had to have one. The Grade 5 had highly figured, glossy walnut and gold inlays. Not The Old Man's style, he settled on the Grade 1. I bought this gun from back in 1999. It has a full choke, but swings beautifully and smokes targets, as long as I do my part.
