Shooting 2060 Yards! 1.17 Miles 338 Lapua

Hey Guys, new here! A couple days ago I went out and did some of my best shooting ever, at 2060 yards! I was shooting my savage 110 BA chambered in 338 Lapua with 300gr Berger OTM's at a steel torso target. Out of a total of 18 rounds fired I landed 4 solid hits. I probably would have done better but I had no idea I was hitting the target so a few times I dialed off after hitting. Time to get a better spotting scope now! Made a short video of the shoot, hope you enjoy!

Definitely the eastern shore. Now if we can just narrow it down from there . . .

Longest confirmed kill with .338 Lapua is about 2700 yards. 3080 yards with .50 BMG.

Not bad! I saw over on the accurate shooter forum that someone hit a target at 2.08 miles with a .338 Lapua!

Thanks for the warm welcome guys! This video was shot out at my buddies ranch in the colorado rockies, his land joins BLM so it makes for some nice shooting out here. The scope is a nightforce NXS 5.5-22x56 MIL/MIL on a ken Farrell 30 MOA base. Glad you guys are enjoying the vid!
