There is okra in the gumbo. That is the only dish that has it though.

Neither. DML and then DMF. I left .org when it sold to VS. Current member of DMF and love it! I was a member of the original mailing list before it became message board.

Seconded. I cook gumbo at home at least once a month. I thicken it with file powder(ground sassafrass) instead of okra.

Well, I stopped by and got a Shrimp Po'boy... Mmmm mmmm good! I be heading back for the Oyster Po'boy next! Thanks for the heads up on this place.

It was good meeting you today. And breakfast was as always outstanding. So good in fact that we rolled out after breakfast and went to FreeState to shoot for a while and then rolled back for lunch and had oyster PoBoys.
