    Firearms are still prohibited in many locations, including inside schools, churches, law enforcement facilities including detention and correctional facilities, anywhere medical procedures are performed, courthouses, public buildings, and any place clearly marked with a sign prohibiting the carrying of a firearm. • Individuals 18 years of age and older will now be eligible to apply for a CWP

    In the older regs there are specific criteria for the size and placement of those signs. It's nothing new. Unlike MD they have the force of law and carrier does not first have to be asked to leave.

    And.....South Carolina is still the armpit of the southeast. With the list of restricted places even DC is giving SC a head nod and a full knuckle bump.

    I lost track of this. Did the Senate gets its amendments or was this more or less the original House bill that the Governor signed?
