    Did anyone think to include this case as decided by SCOTUS saying the police have no duty to protect you unless you have a "special relationship" with the police dept?

    It's been brought up before, several times, during testimony in front of Smith and Waldo in prior years' testimony.

    It is reported that the ACLU has submitted testimony AGAINST SB 1.

    As soon as it’s available I will post it
    Unusual, if true.

    Might signal a turning of the tide?

    Here is testimony from Public Defender office and MSP. Doesn’t seem like a ringing endorsement either

    MSP also forgot permits issued with G&S for the protection of houses of Worship

    Faint condemnation; more like mildly annoyed. It's the best we can expect, I suppose.
    They suggest that revocation of your permit is just fine. It's still not good. Waldstreicher will be fine with that.
